Do you have a good online presence? Perhaps you started a page for your wedding or run a fashion or lifestyle blog. If so, you can earn some extra cash to put toward your wedding by joining the BHLDN affiliate program. After signing up, BHLDN will provide you with charming banners or content to post on your blog or website. If someone follows the link from your website and makes a purchase, you’ll receive a commission! Considering that BHLDN stocks some rather high price items, your commission can quickly add up.
Shop the BHLDN sale section
BHLDN usually has a pretty large sale section with some serious discounts. It’s not unusual to find gowns, accessories, and even wedding décor 40 or 50% off! I always shop the sale section first whether I’m in-store or online.
Check for current contests
BHLDN frequently runs contests on their website with chances to win all sorts of prices. Check the BHLDN contest section on their website frequently to see what contests or giveaways might currently be running.
Win some post-wedding spending money
After the big day is over and you’ve returned from what we hope was an unforgettable honeymoon, head back over to the BHLDN website and submit some pictures to be featured in the Real Bride section of the BHLDN blog. Just send in your favorite photos of you in your dazzling BHLDN dress, along with the name of your wedding photographer and any preferred hashtags you’d like to appear if they choose to use your photo. If selected you’ll receive a $100 Anthropologie gift card which can be used at any Anthropologie or BHLDN store. Bridesmaids and Mothers of the bride can also send in photos if they wore BHLDN to up the chances of winning!

Whoever said bridesmaid dresses have to be ugly has clearly never browsed BHLDN’s bridesmaid section. Bridesmaid dresses at BHLDN are a fraction of the price of wedding gowns and many are just as lovely and come in white or cream tones. Before splurging on that bridal gown, check the bridesmaid section. You might just find the perfect dress for less.
Ditch the white in favor of something a little more unique
Let’s face it, the reasons behind the white dress tradition are a little outdated in modern times. White also isn’t the most flattering color for some skin tones. Perhaps this is why more and more brides each year are choosing to ditch the classic white in favor of something a little more fun and unique. After all, the most important thing when choosing a dress is choosing something that makes you feel beautiful. If you’re more comfortable in darker or brighter colors, I say go for it!
